The yard sale was great. I now have new-to-me Fluevogs! Behold, the Dame Agnes:



I now have both of my holy grail Fluevog boots, both of which were from that line. (Thanks to a frankly insane deal at the very last Time Traveler's Rummage Sale, I scored the knee-high version of that boot, the Countess Olivia.)

I also bought the bladed ankh I previously burbled about, and the amazing black-linen-with-lamé finish blouse from my beloved Kambriel. The rest of my profit will be set aside for a tattoo.

I am worn out. I knew the yard sale would do that, so completely expected it on Sunday and went to the spa. But to still be worn out today? Hmmph. I do not approve.

Saturday was a very long day (for me, I was out of the house from 9am to 10:30pm), and you were Very Very Socially Active on saturday too. Most of us sat most of the day, but you ran around a lot, so I am unsurprised that you are still wiped out today.

I expected to be toast yesterday, and was, and that today might have been rough too (and it is). My own goals for the day are pretty minor.

I hope tomorrow finds you recovered.

You can do those heels? I wouldn't have guessed. But yes, those boots are very you.

The heels on the Rococo line(s - there's been two different versions, and yes, I have shoes from both) have a wide enough base that they don't give me a problem. I wouldn't want to wear them at an event where I had to be on my feet for hours, but they're far more comfortable than other styles of heels.

I'm so happy for you that it went well, and *super* proud of how much space you've cleared in the Storage Room O'Doom! It's a beautiful thing when you can gain space ~and~ tranform lots of bit & bobs into a few choice pieces that you truly adore.

Even though you've had a day already to combobulate, remember it's the season of things hot and orb-y, so that could be a contributing factor too (two days still sounds utterly reasonable to me for all the exertion you did though ~ especially when you include all the days of work that led *up* to the sale itself).
