This skirt?

On the one hand, burgundy (good!), olive green (meh), and brown (ewwww) is not a color combo I'd considered wearing before.

On the other hand, falling leaves pattern!

Even though I don't normally use an autumn palette, I'm a sucker for autumn leaves and fabric with them on it. I have a fair stack of autumn leaf patterned cottons! (and I'd kill for autumn leaf pattern velvet)

I love the idea of an autumn leaves pattern. I would just love it more if it were ... red, gold, and burgundy?

Not your usual palette, but there's more burgundy in it than brown, isn't there? I see it working with an otherwise all-black outfit, and your burgundy hair...

It looks like there's more burgundy than brown.

I'm tempted to get it and toss it into a burgundy dye bath, but I'm worried that would just make the olive turn muddy.

And I just realized that I have a stash of burgundy Copic markers and ink, which work great for spot coloring or dying fabric. I may try coloring some of the differently-colored parts of one or two of the leaves and see how that works.

Now this coloring project sounds fun. Dyeing always seems like messy work to me, but coloring by hand sounds like an art project!
