I am in the depths of deadline crazy.

I desperately want fresh-baked chocolate-chip cookies. Or a brownie.

HOWEVER, not only is gluten an issue for me, but I've been discovering that starchy foods in general make my inflammation and pain issues flare up. That doesn't change the fact that I'm eyeing the box of GF brownie mix in the cupboard and trying to decide if it would be worth it.

(It probably wouldn't be. But good grief, I want some sort of chocolate-y baked good.)

Chocolate souffle cake?

If a moderate amount of sugar is not on the bad starch list and if eggs are okay: https://smittenkitchen.com/2011/04/heavenly-chocolate-cake-roll/

Note: it can be cut and stacked in layers instead, for an assembly experience resulting in less profanity used. Or eaten straight from the pan; that works, too.

It may also be worth investigating almond flour based baked goods for dessert crises...

Argh suck!! Sympathy. For me its actually processed sugar that seems to fuck me up. Though I can have fruit and be okay. Having a body is difficult!

Google "Capital Grille's Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake Recipe". It is a very decadent and delicious cake.
