Potatoes Au Gratin, made with lots of super-sharp Cheddar, heavy cream, and nutmeg, with some thinly-sliced Granny Smith apples and Black Forest ham added to it.

That sounds really, really good.

I'd make it this weekend, but I'm pretty sure that the amount of cheese and cream I would put in it would render it nigh-deadly to [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage. I suppose I could make it on Sunday night and use it for lunches during the week. But I want it now.
