Being so pleased with the ongoing success of taming the Storage Room o' Doom, I decided I needed to do the same thing to the corner of the bedroom that had transformed into a heap of fabric and boxes blocking one of my wardrobes.

So far I have found:

- A selection of interesting stockings, some of which are matched pairs!

- The Lost Kingdom of Pointy Shoes (many of which are too thrashed to be saved, alas).

- Two petticoats I have no memory of owning. (Score!)

And among the garments safely hung up in the wardrobe:

- My blood red velvet wedding dress & frock coat.

- My beloved blood red velvet cloak that [livejournal.com profile] kambriel made for me long, long ago. How long ago? The cloak has a tag with the name of her previous business.

Now I want to see a picture of your wedding. That sounds GORGEOUS.

Your wedding dress was red? Mine was too! Red dupioni, as it happens. (http://www.aon-celtic.com/cprojects/cproject156.html) (Clicky-link!)

So productive!
I'd love to see pictures of your wedding dress. It sounds luxurious! My wedding dress is a very deep jewel-toned green velvet.

Oh, I second this if you get the chance:)

Blood red velvet....mmmmm!

I do believe you won the battle with the Monster From Under the Clothes Heap! The cloak said so. ;o)
