I think I have all the sewing/mending done. I think.

I think I even have the outfit list figured out.

Friday day

Black satin batwing point skirt w/ b&w swirly fabric underskirt, white short-sleeved men's dress shirt, black silk tie, black PVC waist cincher. I still haven't decided if I'm going to wear my hair up in spiky buns, wear my big black straw hat with the bat-patterned chiffon draping and bow, or wear my top hat.

Friday night

Dark purple PVC governess outfit, hair up either in spiky buns or a black wool ponyfall.

Saturday day

Black satin batwing point skirt w/ pink satin underskirt, black muslin chemise, and either a black lace frock coat, or the pink lace w/ black lace trim & buttons frock coat. Hair will be pulled up under the big black straw hat with the bat-patterned chiffon draping and bow.

Saturday night

Giant white tiered ruffle skirt, white men's style dress shirt w/ the cut-out shoulders, white lace jabot, white corset w/ black trim. Hair pulled up under black & white dread falls.

Sunday day

Black linen batwing jacket, b&w stripey satin skirt, big black straw hat with black chiffon draping and b&w stripey satin bow.

Sunday night

Giant ruffly black bat-patterned chiffon skirt, black men's-style dress shirt w/ the cut-out shoulders, black bat chiffon jabot, black patent leather & fuchsia glitter vinyl corset. Maybe the top hat.

Mind you, I STILL haven't made The Husband look at all the outfits. That happens tomorrow.

For a wacky tangent - the What Animal Are You? quiz says I'm a bat! Hee!

How wonderfully appropriate. I bet you were very happy about that.

I was a fox. I'm good with that. Not what I thought I would get, but I'll take it.

Wow. Just wow. I love reading about your clothes. Also, I use you as a threat to MY husband. Whenever I make something really, really pink or uber-fifties or full-skirted and he rolls his eyes, I tell him that you are my role model and he's lucky I don't decide to live the dream and dress like DORIS DAY every day of my life.

And I make him look at everything I'm going to wear before I go on a trip, too!

You should do this. Totally. Because full skirts, lady-like cardigans, and a strand of pearls are ALWAYS appropriate. Always. With little gloves.

Good, because this is pretty much what I *do* wear every day. Well, sometimes I mix it up and wear sheath dresses, instead. I guess I do need to expand to the hats, matching dress-and-coat combos, and gloves. And matching my shoes to my bag!

You...

are far more dedicated to your wardrobe than I. (big surprise, eh? ;-) )

I'm only planning one outfit per day (not counting the fashion show). But, then, I'm having to plan for a full week, and have a limited luggage budget. *grin*

Oh, here's another big surprise (not): I'm an owl (http://www.animalinyou.com/Owl.htm).

Don't tell the Peevers, because he'll never let me live it down. I had Chris enter the stuff for me, and I am a PRAIRIE DOG. Antisocial, bookish, and risk-averse. WM is probably jealous.

Prairie dog???

Well, honestly, I just do not believe you people. I looked at all the animal profiles first, picked the one I wanted to be (guess!), and answered the questions based on the necessary traits to achieve it.

What? Why are you all looking at me like that?
