My usual Thanksgiving day post

I try to think of something I'm thankful for every day; I am so, SO insanely lucky in my life that I try to make sure I acknowledge that fact (even if just in the privacy of my head) all the time. Because I have a very good life, with a wonderful husband, loving (and not crazy-making, but the good sort of crazy) parents, and my beloved chosen family and friends. I try never to take any of it for granted. I'm especially thankful this year, because it has been the best sort of busy and crazy.

I hope all of you had a good day, and I hope the upcoming year is better to all of us than the past one. Even if you had a fabulous year in 2008, I hope that the remainder of it and 2009 are even better.

1. I'm no longer working a mind-rotting, dead end job.
2. Even though I've started to transition, my family hasn't disintegrated.
3. My support network, of which you, sweetie, have been a fiber optic trunk backbone.
