So on the local gothy web board, there's a thread about "Who DO you think is sexy?" Apparently there's been multiple threads about famous people that folks don't find sexy, that sort of thing. But the thread I'm talking about is asking local gothy types who they think are sexy.
Now, these sorts of threads (if I bother to read them), trigger all sorts of crankiness and insecurity in me, because they can (and usually do) turn into a popularity contest. However, this thread didn't come off that way, and it was kind of interesting to read. In an academic sense, because I know that I'm everyone's Wacky Fairy Gothmother, that Mary Poppins look-a-like who is married, so there is no way I'd get mentioned.
And then two of you people go and mention me.
Good thing I'm in my office, and no one can see me blushing bright pink. It clashes with the red velvet skirt.
