 Grady Hendrix (author of some of my favorite recent horror novels) is a fiend for vintage horror paperbacks from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I highly recommend his non-fiction book, Paperbacks from Hell, which is a great overview of the genre. Anyhoodle, Grady occasionally sends out a newsletter talking about whatever one he's read recently. He just mentioned on Twitter that he is reading this gloriously trashy one:



I own this. I've read this. I found it at a thrift store, cackled, and tossed it in my cart. And it is wild; if it was on Ao3, some of the tags would be Character Death, dubcon, noncon, bondage, spanking, whipping, gaslighting, emotional abuse ...

I'm pulling my copy off the shelves and rereading it tonight. :D
