Since I have suggested it twice in comments and people seem to like the idea, I now propose it formally, a solution to two experiences we might like not to have: one, February, when it rains, or is excessively hot, or is in some other way invariably unsatisfactory! a month from which we would like to be distracted until circumstances improve! and two, this illusion that DREAMWIDTH IS FOR SERIOUS, which...no, I am here to assure you that we have been entirely full of shit on this website since the dawn of same

Today I have my first ever appointment with a neurologist.

Good thing I've got both types of my migraines going on! :-|

The neurologist appointment was fine - my reflex, coordination, and balance tests were fine. The doctor wants to start me on Topamax to see if that helps, and I have to keep a log of my headaches, whee. BUT THE GOOD NEWS: Botox treatment from a neurologist is pre-approved on my insurance, so I've got an appointment Monday to get toxins injected. Yesssss.

In other news, the GCS post that goes live Friday is one I'm a little worried about. Comments won't even be turned on, but it's a horrible fact of the current dystopian hellscape that making an anti-fascist post and telling people that HELL YES, they should tell club management about patrons spouting those views and threatening people may lead to my having to be extra-careful with my social media accounts. But that sort of thing needs to be said, loudly and often, and I'm fine with doing so.
