• The Stroppy One is away for 10 days: an event + a quick stop in the UK. Cue my sleep degrading.


• However, during October and November, I've got two different trips to see beloved friends! (With a stop at Disneyland, OMG.)


• Today has involved a sinus migraine. Two rounds of Advil Cold & Sinus, lots of water, and two rounds of coffee (there's usually only one, in addition to the pot of tea) have mostly taken it down?


• Thanks to two hours of simmering in a pot of extra-strength RIT DyeMore, the brocade frock coat that was originally a tomato red is now burgundy. (Dammit, Chicstar, bring that design back.)


• I think Saturday is going to be a flop around the house and read vintage gothic romances day.
