Erzabet came home last night. The diagnosis is possible asthma, and a possible infection. She's got 4 different prescriptions, poor girl.
The big reason we brought her home is that she is an anxious kitty to begin with, and then taken to a strange place with other animals and left there overnight? Not good. According to the vets, they never saw her come out of her hide-y box, eat, or drink. But as soon as we got her in the car, she started purring at me. As soon as we got her home, she was meowing, purring, and banging into us. I slept out on the couch last night so I could reassure her as much as possible.
Today? She seems fine! No coughing, she's flopping over for tummy rubs, and is back to her usual lovey self. I am so, so relieved.
