I have been cranky for a few days now, so today I dressed to put some perky back in my mood. (Yesyes, if an item of clothing doesn't make me happy, I don't wear it at all, but some items make me happier than others.)
All of my co-workers are fascinated by my clothing, and a couple of them have taken to stopping by my office each day to see what I'm wearing. This amuses me greatly.
- Black leather pointy-toe ballet flats that have silver grommets all around the top edge, which I ran pink satin ribbon through and tied in bows.
- Pink fishnet tights worn over white microfiber tights.
- Pink fluffy petticoat.
- Black stretch velvet, knee-length, full-skirted, scoop-necked dress by Betsy Johnson (that I added 4" point-lace trim to the hem when I first bought it).
- Jet bead choker w/ antique cameo pendant.
- Pink faux-fur capelet (not a circle capelet , but a fitted-through-the-shoulders with little collar capelet that is very polished looking at not at all costume-y).
- The usual makeup, my glasses (too tired for contacts), and my hair down but with no hat.
