The interview went really well. It included a writing test - 10 minutes to write 3 headlines and two 100-word blurbs - which felt like a no-brainer to me. The girl who interviewed me said "wow, you have the most eclectic and wide-ranging work experience of anyone I've interviewed." She kept telling me that this position is not as "challenging" as my previous ones - no insane ship schedules. I kept replying that stable would be a welcome change.
So, I'll hear in a week to two weeks if I've got the contract.
crosses fingers
This would be a great job for me - it's something that is within my abilities, but would give me so much "real life" managing editorial experience, instead of the strange kinda-sorta managing editorial experience I do have.
Oooooh, I want this job.
