So I've been drawing one (or two, if they stick together) tarot cards each morning & night; partially as an exercise to become more familiar with the cards & their meanings, and partially as a trigger or jumping-off point to think about my day-to-day life.

(which, work-wise, is demoralizing)

So last night, what 2 cards fall out?

A reversed Knight of Pumpkins - "A hasty scramble towards one's goals. Idle, careless attempts. Stagnation."

and

The Devil - "Temptation, unethical behavior, abuse of power. Avoidance of responsibility. Discontent."

Okay, I don't need to be thumped with any more anvils. I will stop wallowing in angst and ennui; I will put much more effort into improving my situation. Which means very actively persuing other job options, forcing my current management team to actually HELP me, and networking, networking, networking.

Things will work out, because I will make them. Go team me.
