I present to you the Girly Meme! (Which, as e_juliana pointed out, seems to be more about trendy than girly, but it's still entertaining.)




01. Do you have on a lot of make-up?
Bwah-ha-ha-ha! Um, yes.

02. How much do you put on?
A light dusting of mineral foundation powder, two shades of eyeshadow, powder to darken my eyebrows, liquid liner, mascara, lip liner, lipstick. Does that count as a lot? It doesn't to me, but I've been doing this for years.

03. How long does it take you to get ready?
On an average day, about an hour. But that includes makeup, frilly petticoats, fitted jackets, a hat, and a lot of rings.

04. Do you put on a lot of lipgloss?
No, not a lot.

05. Does your lipgloss smell good?
The sparkly red stuff from MAC doesn't have a scent, but the stuff from the Tutti Dolci line was bought specifically for the sugary smell.

06. Do you carry a purse?
Yes.

07. What color is it?
Black, with a silver bat on it.

09. Do you have a Coach bag?
I have two, which were both presents from alexiarnps.

10. Do you have a Louis Vuttion?
Ew, no.

11. How many purses do you have?
Um, a lot. Including several coffin-shaped ones.

12. Do you like to wear nailpolish?
Yes. Black, dark burgundy, or silver glitter.

13. How often do you get your nails done?
I don't get my nails 'done' very often. I apply my own polish.

14. Do you like manicures?
Yes, except for the fact that I always smudge the polish while waiting for it to dry. I have better luck painting my own nails at home.

15. What about pedicures?
Love, love, love, but don't get then very often.

16. Do you have a usual nail salon you go to?
No.

17. Where do you get your hair cut?
What is this 'hair cut' you speak of? I trim my own bangs, and sometimes imflying trims my ends when she thinks they need it.

18. Do you dye your hair?
Hell yes. It takes work to get this unnatural of blue-black.

19. Do you straighten your hair?
Hah. I have no need to, thankyouverymuch.

20. Do you have lots of pairs of shoes?
That would be a bit of an understatement. You have NO IDEA.

21. What are your favorite shoes?
Currently? My black lace-up granny boots; the black, pointy-toe ballet flats with the sparkly bows; and the black glitter ballet flats.

23. Do you wear heels everywhere?
No.

24. Can you walk in heels and not fall over?
Again, no. Heels over 2" make me wobbly.

25. Where do you buy your clothes?
Thrift stores, eBay, vintage stores, and from bluejay23.

26. Do you go shopping every week?
I try to hit a couple of my favorite thrift stores every week, yes.

27. What's your favorite store?
eBay or Thriftko.

28. How much do you usually spend?
Per trip? Under $30, unless I find a lot of things. Okay, more than that if you count the lace trim I buy to add to clothing.

29. Have you ever been in Dior?
No.

30. Do you follow fashion trends?
No. Though I will happily take advantage of sales whenever the mainstream fashion industry decides that goth is 'in'.

31. Do you have a pair of huge sunglasses?
No.

35. How many pairs of earrings do you have?
Not very many since I switched to wearing stainless steel spirals all the time.

36. Do you wear hoop earrings?
Nope.

37. Do you have a lot of skirts?
Yes. I don't wear trousers. I sometimes wear frilly bloomers around the house, but no trousers. I don't like them.

39. Do you get your eye brows done?
No. Though I might, eventually, after they're done growing back in.

40. Can you apply mascara without opening your mouth?
Yes. Wait, you mean there are people who have problems with that?

41. Do you wear a lot of eyeliner?
I wear liquid eyeliner every day, so yes.

42. Do you do pilates or yoga?
No, but I should do one or the other.

43. Do you have a lot of magazines?
Yes, but they're mostly about the gothic subculture or the horror genre. I've gotten out of the habit of buying fashion magazines, which is probably what this meme was talking about.
