Yesterday's migraine was waves of pain alternating with waves of nausea. Super-fun! Plus the ongoing exhaustion from dealing with 3+ weeks of this nonsense.

The Stroppy One called our insurance, then the Polyclinic. Our insurance didn't have a record of any Botox request submitted for me. You see, the recently-formed department at the Polyclinic that deals with certain types of procedure requests, and apparently the request for me ... vanished? Didn't happen? Went into limbo?

Anyway, my case has been flagged as URGENT by both our insurance and the Polyclinic, so we'll see if my appointment for Thursday happens. And if it doesn't, I have an appointment Monday with my glorious and magical dentist so he can inject toxin into my muscles.

My big goals for today are watch a couple classes I subscribed to, make stew for dinner, and not spend the entire day on the couch feeling awful. We'll see if that happens.

I really feel for you, this situation is one of the worst. I hope your insurance covers the botox. I went through something similar years ago, cat scans, mri, etc. The diagnosis was complex but they finally figured it out. If it is any consolation once menopause eased up mine have GREATLY decreased in frequency and severity.
