- Halloween was our 21st wedding anniversary, yay! Which was celebrated by us in different states, but he hid an anniversary card for me, I had hidden one in his luggage, so it was good. But I'm going to be glad when he's home next week.
- I spent Halloween with some dear friends, having dinner and watching silly movies. It was nicely low-key.
- Dad and his lady love came over today for a visit, which is always wonderful. Dad says he's in good health. His lady love confirmed that he was telling me the truth, and she never hesitates to rat him out if he's being less than truthful about that. (Also I think he's finally learning not to pull the "But I didn't want to worry you!" card, which is probably for the best after how much I told him off after the car accident he DIDN'T MENTION*. (Thank you again, Stax, for ratting him out on that.))
- Needles! Not content with merely burning the top layer of skin off with a mild acid, I have now progressed to running a tiny roller covered in super-sharp needles over my face! It's a dermaroller, and it's used to increase collagen production and improve absorption of skin care serum. (The needles are super-fine. I am not punching bleeding holes in my face, I swear.) Yes, it stings a little bit, but less than the glycolic acid peels. Look, I'm going to try this stuff until I finally ascend and become the immortal vampire witch queen I am destined to be.
*"It was fine! No one was hurt! I wasn't injured! So maybe the car was totalled, but ...." OH MY G-D I was so mad at him.

I don't see him much but that's more because of the whole shaky/tremors thing meaning I dont actually leave my apartment much of late. Bleah.
