I need to win the lotto. Job hunting is tedious.
In non-work related things - dinner tonight with a close friend, so I can listen to him rant about being stood up for a date last night. A *second* date - the girl in question was apparently quite enthusiastic about the first date, wanted to go on a second date ... but didn't show up for it.
I know the girl in question. I thought she was kind of a flake to begin with. If it turns out that there were no extenuating circumstances to her not showing up for her date w/ UJ, I'm going to have to restrain my urge to go shrieking into the night to hunt her down.
I am starting to realize that there are certain threads on some message boards I shouldn't bother reading. Yes, they're fascinating, and kinda like watching a gory movie. But I don't need the aggrevation, I don't need the temptation to poke at people, and I don't need to spend time thinking "huh, I wonder if that was in reference to me". Because if it WAS, so what?
