Ahahahahaha. Have you met me? I traveled to another state to see two back-to-back My Chemical Romance concerts. I'm going to see Adam Lambert next week.

Mind you, I'm almost completely ignorant of mainstream music, just because I don't listen to the radio or watch whatever passes for "music video" channels any more. I learn about new music by friends going "Listen to this! Watch this video!" (Or in some cases "Watch this pretty ice skating boy do a routine to Lady GaGa!") But I think obscure bands becoming popular is a good thing, because that means the musicians can (maybe) start supporting themselves through their art.

Other stuff: Yes, I did get a Monster High Draculaura doll. She is sitting at home in her box, and I am waiting for the right time to introduce her to Lucretia Evangeline. Who may be slightly miffed about the new addition to the doll family, because HELLO, Lucretia is pining to become a vampire, and Draculaura already is one. I suspect Lucretia is going to be writing some angsty letters to G. (the Infamous BlueJay's vampire boy), while Hellboy shakes his head at her.

I've been begging my husband to get me the Frankie Stein doll ... She reminds me of Zombina and the Skeletones and I want to knit tiny clothes for her.

So far, he does not have the desire to buy me dollies. I must keep trying.

Good job of getting Draculaura. Did you get one with lots of pink in her hair. I got two one for me and one for the Granddaughter (it has lots of pink in the hair) and I got her Clawdeen Wolf and Frankie Stein as well. I am such an enabler:)

My Draculaua is standing next to Evangeline getting a rather perplexed look at the moment. I think the dollies will eventually like each other, especially when I get Evangeline's "fangs" made. I have tried tiny toothpick ends painted white with a tiny bit of dental wax for adhesion and they stay in fine unless I move her around a lot. The next attempt will be to form some fangs over a needle with white polymer clay. She really does need fangs I just don't want to make them permanent.
