Oooh, distractions!

The wonderful folks over at Redemption Klothing put up the sketches for the Lip Service Spring 2010 lines. (Yes yes, clicky-link!) Oooh, look at all the gothy-goth and Victorian-esque goodies! The Blacklist high-collar top and long-sleeved jacket, the Lolita Candy layered skirt, the Step In Time Like Clockwork underbust corset and button front jacket; all of those things make me squeak (weakly, right now) at the monitor. (All of those were clicky-links, but I'm sure you figured that out.)

Another nice distraction was my Mom calling to check on me, and then telling me about what Halloween merchandise she's seen out on the sales floor of the Fred Meyer she works at. She promised to keep an eye out for the (sure to be coming) stock of b&w stripy tights. (What, how else did you think I stocked up on them? I have connections.)

I am feeling just well enough to become easily restless and fidgety. This is bad, because as soon as I try to do something, my energy reserves run out. Maybe I should follow [livejournal.com profile] maiaarts lead and spend some time playing around on Polyvore? Would that keep me from becoming fidgety?

Two words for you: Evil Enabler

That's what you are.

;)

If you can bribe someone on the outside to pick it up for you, the new Martha Stewart Halloween edition of her magazine is out. For as much as people may mock her, the lady knows how to spookify a house and there are sure to be some glorious pictures to go along with the ideas.

Best wishes of returning health!

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better, even if you're not 100% yet! That is the coolest website, and I agree with the others who called you an evil enabler. =)

I love the fact that Lippy is starting to make a few more items for the guys, some nice looking suits in there to! I may snap up some shiny bits for my self . . . I mean, jackets are always good to have right? And I do need some pants . . . and skirts . . . Ooooo! You! Queen of the evil clicky links!

Polyvore . . . yea, that should help. A nice creative outlet. Remember, post a pretty Polyvore creation or two!

More inspiration for me to get down to a 2XL. :D It shouldn't take that long, though. I've been doing pretty well. LOL. I think Polyvore would probably just make you more fidgety, because you'd want to go on a spending spree. But if you do Polyvore, please let us see the pretty things. :) I hope you feel better soon!

Does Fred Meyers have a better grade of stripey tights than the ones in the Halloween costume stuff? The costume grade ones are always too short for me...but I've only looked at Walmart and Kmart.

Your Ladyship, I didn't believe I would be that excited by the Lip Service sketches, but I found myself "Oooooh!"ing merrily at the monitor, why did I doubt...
