[coveting] And on a completely different topic

Quick, someone talk some sense into me. Because I think this jacket (clicky-link!) is one of the cutest things I'VE EVER SEEN. Hee, skeleton arm down one sleeve! Buttons!

That's not a jacket - that's an arm and upper chest warmer at best.

Neat idea - execution - not so much.

So apparently you just gave u on that whole notion of being elegant and well dressed, huh?

Step away from website. Go deal with email I sent you. Crazyhead.

I think it would go perfectly with this skirt:

Skeleton arm detail! Buttons!

... I'm not convincing you, am I?

[identity profile] princekermit.livejournal.com 2009-04-22 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
not even an upper chest warmer... it's a clavicle warmer.

it's not a jacket, it's $60 for a choli with a glandular problem.

[identity profile] mirandapadgett.livejournal.com 2009-04-22 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh, I like that. I can very much see it with this skirt (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23956251).

Two things -

[identity profile] staxxy.livejournal.com 2009-04-22 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
1) those are mutton sleeves, if you look at the top of them.

2) it's brown. Or a particularly FADED black.

If you did buy it, you would be VERY disappointed with it when it arrived.

The idea is DARLING, but the execution is slipshod really. You would be much happier with more realistic bones, or at least ones that did not look like they were drawn by an 8 year old.

It wouldn't be difficult to make an applique to use on a better quality jacket you already own.

I adore the skeleton bones down the arm and the button. I think that's not the best rendition of it, but I ADORE the idea and think you should own something that has bones down the arm and cute buttons.

(Sorry, Stroppy.)

You're fired. Report immediately to your 360 console for a good kicking.

Oh, and Cass, there's a new free download for L4D called Survival Mode. You get a couple of minutes of set-up and then you have to survive as long as you can. Most people don't make it past 3 minutes apparently. Good times!

I'm in agreement with the others that the bones need work. They look ironed on, not sewn.

However did you see this jacket she had:

(I really need to learn that clicky link thing)

I bet you could get her to do it in pink for you!

CUTE!!!!

Its hard to say no...

[identity profile] ozitonaranjo.livejournal.com 2009-04-23 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
I don't like the bones. I think you could do it better and more elegantly.

[identity profile] acid-poptart.livejournal.com 2009-04-23 11:33 am (UTC)(link)
Awwwww boo! I love it.... of course I own it and a matching skirt and nearly got run over by some rabid fans wanting to know where I got it last con. Let me find pics... ah, it's slightly different jacket..... great all I can find are ones where I'm smashed at the comicon....

I'm keeping the drunk shots posted. I do have a sense of humour. I love the thing.... but you're talking to a woman who also dresses like this:

But I think I'm a comic book character so you know....

That's it, add to the illusion! :P
