[Sale post] 1995 Vertigo Tarot deck and book

For sale! A copy of the 1995 Vertigo Tarot deck in almost mint condition. "Almost", because there is a small puncture in the front of the big white presentation box, which is from a bat-festooned candelabra falling on it during the 2001 Nisqually earthquake.

(Yes, I'm serious. Vertigo tarot deck. Bat-festooned candelabra. Earthquake. Look, I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.)

The cards and book have never been taken out of the presentation box. $120 + shipping. Leave a comment if you're interested.

Completely not related to this, but it reminded me I wanted to ask you this:

Where would one go about finding hatpins in Seattle?

They don't have to be fancy, at all, as they will be mostly inviisble.

How long of hatpins? Most bead stores carry 4" or 5" hatpins. If you want longer, more functional hatpins, you'll need to make them yourself. Which involves going to a craft or fabric store and buying packages of the 8" doll-making needles and epoxying whatever you want to the blunt ends.

I think those will work... Vanessa is looking for something to use to attach a headpiece to fake dreads, for a Burning Man costume. I'll check out a bead place, thanks :)

Guh, so.want. I've wanted that since it came out. I'll have to check my budget on Friday when I get paid

OK, count me out. Budget is officially blown after the vet bill I just got. :(

I kinda figured that would be the case. Poor kitty!

Apropos of nothing

I saw these and thought of you:

They may not be your thing, but I figured--cheap, pale pink, flats. Worth a try :)

A friend in AZ posted it - he thought it was funny, but he had no idea who or what it was. :)
