No context theatre

"What key is this in?"

"Shame flat."

EDIT: p.s. For my birthday, I totally want a theramin.

Wouldn't that be the key of L? "What do you mean? There is no key of L." "Sure sounds like L to me!"

The great L would never have a musical key of fail named after him. It is obviously the key of Q.

:D

Well, Q sharp minor is the default key for all amateur choral groups, unless the leader WORKS to get them into another one.

...DON'T REMIND ME.

(Because yes, I'm a music major - conducting - and we had a choir at work that my StuntWife, the Cupcake Goth, sang in. Most of them were okay. But MAN was it a struggle to get them to sing IN THE SAME KEY.)

I hold my census crew check-ins at the local senior center. On Fridays they set up a karaoke machine. I have been going over and taking the mike just so that ONE song at least will be done ON KEY and WITH THE INTENDED PHRASING.

Don't forget the other soprano who had Vibrato Of Doom!

I've only heard of this legendary thing twice. The first time was from the bari sax player in my high school's marching band; the second was when Dave found the Brown Note when we were on tour a couple years ago.

Both times were equally frightening.
