Goth at the Office: what the hell is up with this week?
Seriously? Still tired, still wishing I could set people on fire with the power of my mind. Not everyone, mind you. Just a few, specific people. That's not too much to ask for, I swear.

Tomorrow I am going to wear my new favorite long brocade frock coat, which I have now changed the buttons on. Did you folks know about The Black Broom? If so, why didn't you tell me?! Pewter buttons with Vlad the Impaler! Or Elizabeth Bathory! So now my black brocade frock coat has Vlad buttons, and I'm going to order some Elizabeth Bathory buttons to put on another jacket. Oh wait, I didn't tell you folks about this ridiculous idea, did I?
So I have a long ivory silk frock coat from J. Peterman, from back when they had an actual physical store here in Seattle. (I got the frock coat for something like 90% off during the clearance sale. Listen, you can almost hear
icprncs grinding her teeth in envy. ::grin::) Anyway, I've worn it maybe three times since I lucked into it. It's a wonderful jacket, it's just not something I throw on all the time.
But. My ridiculous idea is to get a bunch of deep ruby red seed beads and add little glittering drops and streaks of "blood" to it. On the lapels, the cuffs, along the hem, and then swap the buttons for the Elizabeth Bathory ones. Hi, stamp my cliche card now, please. If you can find a blank spot on it, that is.
