Dear Subconscious,

If you could NOT give me the stress dreams where I'm stuck working back at Fred Meyer, that would be swell. If you must give me stress dreams, could we go back to the old standby of the critters from Aliens attacking the WotC offices? You know, the one where I have a pulse rifle? Or how about the recurring stress dream where the zombie apocalypse is happening? Hell, even the stress dream about the zombie apocalypse wherein the Stroppy One has been bitten and is telling me I have to get away from him right now would actually be better than the stuck-working-at-Fred-Meyer one.

Mine usually involve giant, human-faced spiders sitting me down to tell me the lay of the land, only it's really hard to listen, because it's a FUCKING HUGE SPIDER!!!!!!

What the hell was up with last night??? I had dreams where I had the baby but people were not going to let me keep her and were only going to let me see her once a month. I woke as I was sitting in the dream holding her and crying. Thanks to it and others like it I was up hourly. I woke more than the baby did.
